Most surface inhabitants are unaware that robots exist, since they live deep in the depths, near the very Core of Peplandia. This core is unusual, no one ever investigated it, but the robots are inextricably linked with it, for sure. There is a theory that the Core powers the robots, giving them energy. The robots, in turn, collect and deliver magic to the Core necessary for the birth of new individuals.
